Well. We all know what happened here, except that I attended the marvelouw LEFT COAST CRIME FESTIVAL in March and enjoyed a whirlwind two hours of ‘Speed-author-dating’ with mystery author Sheila Scobba Banning. I also had the pleasure of sitting on a Culinary Mystery Panel led by the incomparable Mark Baker, author of the Carstairs Considers blog. That was just the first day, but shortly after the panel ended, we learned that the city of San Diego had shut down the entire conference. It was March 12th, and that was the end of life as we knew it.
